Vincent van Gogh - flowering almond branches

Almond flowers belong to a group of paintings that were created in Arles and Saint-Rémy in southern France in 1888 and 1890. Flowering trees were something special for Van Gogh. They stood for departure and hope. He enjoyed her aesthetics and enjoyed painting flowering trees.
