Galatea of the spheres is a painting by Salvador Dalí from 1952, the Gala Dalí, the wife and muse of Salvador Dalí, in a series of spheres that are ordered in a continuous arrangement. The name Galatea refers to a sea nymph of classic mythology known for its virtue, and can also refer to the statue that was loved by her creator Pygmalion.
