Adults - René Magritte - The Black Magic

Black Magic is the title of a series of paintings depicting the artist's beloved wife, Georgette, and represents a hymn to her beauty but also a provocation: the beloved's upper body takes on the colors of the sky, in a spell of black magic that transforms her into a half-celestial and half-earthly woman. Who, if not she, the painter's muse, could have surrendered to such magic?
