Piet Mondrian - Victory Boogie Woogie

The Second World War forces Mondrian to move to New York, and the hectic life of the city influences it: its compositions, which are hung with a new direction and are freed from black lines, become dynamic and are reminiscent of the rhythm of the metropolis. Victory Boogie Woogie is his last, unfinished work, a symbol of a revolutionary change in his art.
