René Magritte - The Son of the Man

Magritte painted the son of man as a self -portrait. It shows a man in the coat and with a melon in front of a low wall, behind which the sea and a cloudy sky can be seen. The man's face is largely covered by a floating green apple. Another subtle feature is that the man's left arm seems to be bent back on the elbow.
