Georges Seurat - the Eiffel Tower

This oil painting on the wooden panel from 1889 was painted in the same year, in which the Eiffel Tower was built as the entrance to the world exhibition. Seurat spent a lot of time to make sketches of the Paris tower before completing the painting in his studio.
